I might just have to sell the last of the desktop computers in the house... which happens to be the last of the Microsoft OS computers. It doesnt get used, has frequent errors that require reboots, and has just got past the "fun" point. Our two laptops, one running Ubuntu Linux, the other Mac just work. Yeah that sounds like some ad, but they do, you turn them on they boot and they run. No spyware, no adware, no crap stuff..... they just work. to the next one.....
I love Amber.....
Tomorrow is my 100 mile Tour De Cure bike ride and I am actually looking forward to this one! I meet a couple of guys at 6AM at the best bike shop around, Fat Frogs and we had to Hickory HS to ride to Roanoke Isand Park in NC. A fun ride with good people and the weather should be good. It might not be a 15 mph head wind the entire time this year. Hopefully my sinuses that have been acting up all week will cooperate with me. My loving darling wife is picking me up from NC and driving me all the way back to pick up my truck in Chesapeake.
Amber has also been AWESOME at helping Devon get his monthly book report done. She even canceled plans on her Friday night to pick him up to help him get his book report done! The same report that the child hasn't worked on since finishing his book two weeks ago, right before going on Spring Break!
April 2007 Archives
I am posting this from a laptop, a laptop running Ubuntu Linux.
Not only is this a laptop running Linux, but it's connected to our wireless network and running the proper screen resolution!!! :D How cool is that. I am doing all this while Devon is playing on Amber's Macbook computer. That's right no Micro$oft software, no bootleg software, no pirated software!!!
